0146 Jenbacher Pony, non working front & rear lights, orange, unpowered

In 1975/6 Jenbacher pit locos were recorded in the stock of the Salzberg works at Durrenberg, the oldest went back to 1951 and the most recent 1963. The first JW2O was delivered on 18/6/54 to the mine management at Hallein. In 1955 a further one was aquired from the Kohlenbergbaus in Haring where it had performed satisfactorily. Both locos operated in the meantime only in the Wolf-Dietrich.Stolle. After losing foreign business, the JW20 became superfluous and was given to the Salzbergwerke at Altaussee. The loco which was obtained on 30/9/63 was used for spare parts for Wolf-Dietrich Stolle. Between 1980/89, the mine-loco fleet was updated with 5 Jenbach diesel locos, among them a JW20G mining type which can be found at WDStolle. All other Jenbach locos are to be found at Ober- and Untersteinberg. The present visitors section is at Obersteinberg. The model of the JW20 corresponds to the Hallein livery (engine cover orange, rear wall red) and each is equipped with a headlight at the front and rear. On the rear panel, the model, like the original carries track equipment in the form of a crank-operated lifting device.
