This amalgamation has been derived from the Bemo WebSite ; 'Neuheiten 2012' ; from
information obtained at Nuremberg 2012 ; and from information obtained directly from Bemo.
If you use the link(s) to see all models - you can use your bowser's "Back" button to return here. |
It can be expected that during 2012 BEMO will announce additional models. Remember that
some items may take up to 3yrs to appear, especially, but not exclusively, the 'metal collection'
items, and could well have mandatory pre-ordering closing date - a 'one-off-production-run' offer.
It is a fact that, at that date, the production run is fixed and that is how many will be
manufactured, and only once. |
Use our pre-ordering scheme - You know it makes sense. |
The items shown on these pages are New Items and will (hopefully) appear between
March 2012 and April 2013. Items being shown here may not yet have been released or be
available from our stocks and depending on the date you refer to this information the models
may have been released and completely sold out.
This is why we strongly recommend you contact us and use our Pre-order scheme to secure any
items you are interested in purchasing.

G3/4 14

NEW MODEL
In 1902, additional G3/4s with running numbers 11-14 were introduced. They were more powerful and had enlarged coal bunkers.
After the electrification of the rail network - and the decommissioning of most steam engines - two of these locos were kept into the 1970s; #11 "Heidi", and #14 - as a reserve in Samedan.
In 1972 the latter was leased to the Appenzell Railway for steam nostalgia specials.
This metal model is in the last RhB operating condition, with five pole motor & flywheel, a digital interface and advanced lighting.

NEW Model
In 1908 4 two-axle coaches, C 256-268, were delivered by the factory in Rastatt. In 1952 they were converted for use on the Bernina line in Landquart workshops; they received new wooden structures with large windows on the existing chassis.
In the 70s, the now, B 2075-2078 coaches were used for excursion trains from the north side to Alp Grüm, for nostalgia runs as well as attached to freight trains (GMP).
Especially since the early 70s, numerous operations in GmP are documented on the trunk network, we have decided to offer this all-purpose vehicles in the model - also in view of the fact that
In 1983 three of these coaches were moved to the South German Railway Museum "Oechsle", and are still in operation there.

Of the five rack HGe4/4 11~15 that entered service during 1929-30, only the last-built is preserved as motive power
for nostalgia trains. It differs from the previously available models, 12 and 14,
by having modernised fan grills.
In 1969, four coaches were transferred from Berninabahn to BVZ as B2081~84.
In 2000 B2083 was converted into a bar and dining-coach for use in nostalgia trains.

Rack steam locomotive
In 1990, the DFB won a sensational campaign to bring back at some of the SLM built rack steam locomotives from their exile in Vietnam.
In 1992, the DFB, with the two former FO locomotives 1 & 9, rebuilt HG3/4 1 "Furkahorn" and 2 "Gletschhorn"
could then support the existing locomotive HG3/4 6 "White Horn ".
There were then sufficient locomotives for the line extension. These locomotives are now the backbone of the service now that the route has been returned to it's original length.
Handmade metal model with appropriate changes to the FO. Five pole motor with a flywheel, with a digital interface and with lighting.
