Work will start from mid 2013 with the production of the MOB BCFe4/4 7~20 railcars for 2014 delivery.

With slightly fewer orders, the FO BDeh2/4 41~45 railcars will be implemented at a later date.

When the line was extened from Montbovon to Gstaad, and Zweisimmen in 1904-06, the MOB bought a total of 14 new Railcars - this is the largest series ever for this meter-gauge railway. However, as more powerful vehicles were delivered, Railcar series BCFe4/4 7~20 were increasingly displaced to subordinate services, and lastly for shunting duties before being withdrawn.
