In 1944 and 1946 MOB purchased six railcars that are capable of hauling heavy express
|
trains in multiple unit operation. As the number of seats in these railcars was limited
|
due to the luggage compartment, two units including driving trailers were rebuilt for local
|
push-pull-trains in 1974 and 1981 respectively. As from 1979 and until the delivery of
|
the modern GDe4/4 6001~06, the remaining four railcars BDe4/4 3003~06 were used
|
to haul the renowned ”Panoramic Express” and ”Superpanoramic Express” trains.
